Its intense green, deep and even, is the green of great Colombian stones, dense without going dark and luminous without paling. This Colombian emerald weighs 4.87 ct, step cut as a square with cut corners.
At this volume, such a color becomes exceptional: the eye plunges into a rich material, barely veiled by a discreet jardin. Minor oil, a low degree for a stone of this size.

Rough stone
Crystal bought hand to hand on the Muzo marketplace, in Boyacá. At this stage nothing is settled: the lamp hints at the color and the clarity, only the cut will tell what the stone can give. We selected it for the density of its green and the cleanness of its material, rare at such a size.

Cutting
The crystal travels down to Bogotá, entrusted to Christian, our lapidary. He opts for a square step cut with cut corners: it is the one that best respects the volume of the rough and circulates the light without hardening the color. Some material is always lost at this stage; that is the price of a properly proportioned stone.

Our photographs and our video show the exact stone, with no retouching at all. But the color of an emerald is never fixed: it changes with exposure to light. The same green will look deeper in daylight, warmer under a lamp, darker in shade. That is true of every emerald, not only ours.
This is why video remains the most faithful rendering: the stone moves, and you see it from several angles and under several angles of light, as if you were holding it. If you want to see it in other conditions, ask us for an extra video: we will film it and send it to you.
How do delivery and insurance work?
A secure handover comes first. Depending on your project, we hand the stone to you in person, anywhere in the world, or ship it by FedEx, within France or internationally, insured and signed for on delivery. It always travels with its certificate. Timing depends on the delivery method and, for a FedEx shipment, on the destination country.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Card, through a secure payment link, or bank transfer. For security reasons, direct and automatic payment is not open on the site: after your order, we email you the payment link and our bank details.
What if the stone is not right for me?
You have 14 days from receipt to withdraw, with no need to give a reason. The stone comes back to us in its original condition, with its accessories, by insured and signed shipping at your expense. We refund everything you paid, initial delivery included, within 14 days. The details are in article 10 of our terms of sale.

Yes, just ask us on WhatsApp or by email: we hold it for 48 hours, with no commitment and no deposit.
I am a jeweler: how does VAT work?
For trade buyers, our prices are quoted excluding VAT. A buyer in the European Union with a valid VAT number (VIES) falls under the reverse-charge mechanism, subject to the validation of our own number, which is in progress. A French jeweler receives a standard invoice excluding VAT. All the terms are on our trade page.
