Delivery Areas
JOHYA ships to the following areas: mainland France, the European Union, and outside the European Union upon request and subject to prior approval.
Carriers and Shipping Methods
Due to the value of the products, all shipments are sent as insured packages requiring a signature upon delivery, via specialized carriers or secure postal services.
[To be completed: name of the selected carrier(s), for example, Chronopost Sécurité, FedEx International Priority, La Poste Registered Mail with Declared Value, or a specialized provider such as Brink's or Ferrari]
Delivery Times
[To be completed in accordance with the commitments made to the carrier. Example below:]
- Mainland France: 2 to 5 business days from the date of shipment
- European Union: 5 to 10 business days
- Outside the European Union: 7 to 15 business days, excluding customs clearance time
Delivery times are calculated from the date the package is shipped, not from the date the order is placed. For stones that require a gemological certificate that has not yet been issued, an additional [X] weeks are required before shipment.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination and the value of the package. They are shown to the Customer before the order is confirmed.
[To be completed: fee schedule or calculation method]
Insurance
Each shipment is covered by insurance equal to the declared value of the package. In the event of loss or theft during transit, JOHYA will refund the purchase price or reship an equivalent product, subject to the carrier or insurer actually covering the loss.
Reception
The Customer (or any person duly authorized to receive the package) must sign the delivery slip. If there is any doubt regarding the integrity of the package (damaged packaging, signs of tampering), the Customer is asked to note specific reservations in writing on the carrier’s delivery slip or to refuse the package.
In the event of an absence, the Customer must follow the carrier’s instructions to arrange for another delivery attempt or to pick up the package at the designated pickup location or post office.
Shipments Outside the European Union
For shipments outside the EU, the Customer is solely responsible for paying any customs duties, local taxes, and customs clearance fees applicable in the destination country. JOHYA agrees to provide all necessary documents (commercial invoice, certificate if applicable), but cannot be held liable for delays resulting from customs formalities in the destination country.
