What made the difference for me was speaking directly with Vincent. He knew the stone I was asking about and could explain why he had chosen it. No being passed between different people.

Lo que más me interesó fue poder ver la piedra en bruto y después tallada. No había comprado una esmeralda de esta manera y tenía curiosidad por el proceso. Vincent me explicó las etapas y respondió personalmente a mis preguntas. Guardé las fotografías junto con la documentación de la compra.

Buscaba una piedra para un colgante y estaba entre dos tonos de verde. Me enviaron videos de ambas y pude comentarlos con mi joyero antes de elegir. También agradecí que el tratamiento estuviera explicado por escrito. La entrega con FedEx fue bien y la piedra llegó bien protegida.

I wanted a particular shape and had a fixed budget. The search took a little patience, but I appreciated being shown videos before making any decision. The stone we settled on suited the design I had in mind.

I had been looking for an emerald for a ring but found it difficult to judge the stones from photos alone. Vincent sent additional videos and answered my questions about the inclusions. What I particularly liked was being able to see the rough stone and the stages of cutting. I spent more time looking through those photos than I expected. It was a nice part of the purchase, not just paperwork.

Premier achat d’une émeraude, donc pas mal de questions de mon côté. Vincent a pris le temps de me montrer deux pierres en vidéo et de m’expliquer les différences, notamment sur le traitement. J’ai surtout apprécié de parler avec la personne qui les avait achetées en Colombie. Les réponses étaient précises, sans pousser à choisir la plus chère.
