A pair of Colombian trapiche emerald slices totaling 2.35 carats. The trapiche is one of the most fascinating phenomena in gemology: as the crystal grows, carbon-rich partitions form a six-spoked wheel, unique to each stone—and found almost exclusively in Colombian deposits.
Here are two matching slices featuring water-green sections, clean lines, and an almost architectural design. Their natural pairing makes them the perfect duo for earrings with character.
