Two cousins, a shared goal

Johya was born out of the partnership between two cousins united by a shared conviction: Colombian emeralds deserve to be sold with complete transparency, at their true value, without intermediaries.

Colombia, the Source

Rather than buying from a wholesale market, we chose to go straight to the source. We source our emeralds directly from Colombia—the Boyacá, Muzo, and Bogotá regions—where the stones are mined. Every purchase is negotiated on-site and documented, from pickup to invoice.

Total Specialization

We work exclusively with emeralds: one stone, one craft. Each piece is appraised according to gemological criteria and comes with a report from an independent laboratory.

No phantom inventory, no talk of “scarcity,” no hidden middleman markups. You pay for the gem, not the chain. That’s the Johya promise.
